Matt Smith is carrying the Olympic torch through part of Cardiff.
On one hand, as a Doctor Who fan, I think this is very very cool.
On the other, as a David Tennant fan, I feel…this is not canon.
But if they’re doing this, maybe they do plan to let the Tenth Doctor run it the last few meters and are keeping it a surprise? That would be very awesome.
Either way, it’s great that Matt Smith gets the honor. If I could make myself care about sports, I would totally be pumped for the Olympics after hearing this.
